So I am working at Lucille Roberts in Bohemia for a year and right before the holidays (this year-2009) and I go in to work on my scheduled night and check the schedule for the follwing week only to see my name and NO HOURS !! I am irrate so I discuss it with my Assistant Manager and she says to me that "Marilyn (the mananger of the Bohemia location) does not know what she is going to do with me yet" not really knowing what she meant by that statement I continued to discuss with her the possibility of my job being in jeopardy and she proceeds to tell me that "Lucille Roberts is LOOKING FOR YOUNGER EMPLOYEES" !!!!!!!!!!!! WOW was I irrate at that comment, I mean she is 4 years older than me and the manager (MARILYN Z.) is 60 years old ???? did I miss something here?? I am on work on time and NEVER had to call in sick..I am reliable and even had to take my daughter in with me a few times just to "help them out" with scheduling conflicts !! so the moral of this post is LUCILLE ROBERTS BOHEMIA DISCRIMINATES AND IT IS A SAD DAY WHEN A 40 YEAR OLD HARD WORKING MOTHER GETS "LET GO" IN THIS MANNER... I know that she knows what she did is wrong, BUT HAVE THE DECENCY TO ADDRESS THE SITUATION WITH A LITTLE BIT OF CLASS !!!! well that said, I feel much better about getting it off my chest and BEWARE OF LUCILLE ROBERTS BOHEMIA unless of coarse you are 18 and 100 lbs !!!! thank you Linda Burke 128c918

This Lucille Roberts is a nightmare! I am not suprised! I will be writing up an article in the local newspapers (luckly I work for three of them) about this locations lack of air conditioning for 1 month and the terrible additude from most of the girls who work there. This would be a great story to add to the mix!
