Please tell me something that I don't know how much they are paying you to defend them. You sound like a provoked manager not a member.
I have called numerous times 212.734.9717 with no luck. There is no one to answer the phone with the exception of lunch time or after hours when you get a message to call during business hours. Calls to the Gym in Linden NJ did not solve anything; they give you the same number or tell you to go to their website to print cancellation forms. Let me ask you which form can I use just to cancel my membership without any cause? I don’t have a contract and desire to go to Lucile Roberts anymore.
So there it is I am upset because when you go to sign up they charge you at the gym, but when you want to cancel they give you this bogus number to call.
This is my advice to Lucille Roberts and its management keep up with this customer service and you will be out of business sooner than you think.

She told me no....next billing date there is another debit from my checking account. I called again and they told me they had no record of my cancellation. How the *** is that possible?! they really need to get it together. I was then told that they would cancel it as a COURTESY and i will receive a check in the mail in 4-6 weeks. NEVER EVER will i do business with this gym. |

Their 1800 number is to the Hamilton gym, ummm, shouldn't that be their main number??? Its just so weird, and then when you actually speak to someone, they are nasty. Never again will I join a Lucille Roberts gym again. I'd rather pay a higher monthly rate and receive better service, than to be given the run around every single time I call. |

Also don't bother with Customer service online because even after you make your account and activate it, it would tell me that I entered in the wrong email or password when I entered it in carefully 5 times! |

I just spoke to the girl on wall st and she confirmed the number and stated that it works but it does not. They stopped taking out money out of my account for the monthly payment and now they want me to pay all in full which is a big amount or I could renew my contract and they would waive the fees. Written by angry customer, but found a re on November 30, 2009 from trenton, new jersey, US I had the same problem with the same gym the one located in Linden,nj the 212 734 9717 directed me to an anwer machine that did not even mention lucille roberts, but I did find a real customer service number and it is 212 734 9806 I was able to speak to a rep. within 5-7mins and cancelled my membership, which of course cost money. Hope this is helpful. |
