Wow, i can't say I am shocked that there are tons of reports about Lucielle Roberts being a scam but I am kind of glad I am not the only one that has been scammed by them. It is incredible what they get away with! I actually just got off the phone with their company and am wondering what my next step should be, attorneys are expensive but in this case it might actually be worth it just to shove it in their self righteous faces. Ive joined lucielle (HUGE MISTAKE) in November of 2009, went all out with the "live right" and a personal trainer since I had a wedding coming up. Though the girls seemed(the
key word is SEEMED) nice at first , the entire gym experience turned into a loop of ***". The live right coach was kind of nice but really stuck up while the personal trainer had the nerve to accuse me of "faking" nausea just so that i didnt have to exersice (i was new to the whole gym experience and having a personal trainer working me hard proved to be a little nauseating) so when i complained of being nauseous and light headed and wanted to take a break she said that I am faking it (even though i am paying for sessions) and that i dont really want to
loose weight/. After that Ive stopped going, realizing that i still have a contract, I went to use the machines for a while and then stopped going altogether , i was still paying my bills on time and waiting for my contract to expire which was suppose to have as of November of this year, 2011?. As of November I tried contacting them on several occasions, via their
customer service line "212-734-9717" which they NEVER pick up, the office hours are ridiculous for any working individual , 9am-5pm WITH AN HOUR BREAK of 12-1 when they dont pickup the phones! I've sent emails for 3 weeks, called the LUCIELLEUSA number and had no response anywhere until I finally reached some girl that was very helpful or so I thought, she stated that I needn't so anything on my part and that the contact will automatically expire and unless I renew it in person I wont have to pay anymore?. Imagine my surprise when I saw a new charge in December, a month after my contract expired/. After callingn them for a week and being on hold though out my "late" lunch breaks (as I counldnt call from12-1, because they are closed) I was forced to hang up and try another day:. I finally reached them today adn spoke to someone named Daniel, I've never before encountered such a rude, abnoxious, thickheaded "individual" (and I work in customer service as well), after explaining my situation to him, I swear I actually heard a smirk , he stated there is nothing they can do short of cancelling the membership with todays date (12/28) and charge me for 1/2 month next month:. I asked to speak to a supervisor, he had the balls to question "why", after I exp[lained why , he mumbled something about me being a *** and HUNG UP THE PHONE! I was furious and called back and got the same *** again, telling him how rude he was hanging up and asked to speak with superior again, he said he didnt hang up but put me on hold as he will do now, After being on hold for additional 30 minutes (being pissed I was willing to wait the whole day) a woman named Sherry or Sherrice (something of that sort) picked up the phone when I said I was looking to speak to a manager or supervisor she stated it was her (there was snickering in the background so I am starting to wonder whether I actually spoke to the supervisor ) in either case, she repeated that they can only cancel the membership as of today, after I told her that I have proof of trying to contact them, my emails(dated, though the service), she said unless I have a confirmation of the acount previously being cancelled there is nothing that can be done". When I explained I spoke to someone in November, she actually called me a liar by saying they have no record of it and my emails are not proof enough! Lucielle Roberts is the biggest scam I've had to deal with thus far, and I really hope someone will actually take them down! 128c73d
