I joined the Bay Shore gym and have been trying to cancell my membership since April 2014. I received a online address from a girl at the bayshore gym and the instuctions said to mail a cancellation request to box number in manhattan, well that was a ups store no longer existing when i contacted the postmaster. I had a horrible experience on Thursday July 3, 2014. I went to the gym and there was a maintenance man working INSIDE the locker room!!! And the worst part is he did not leave when I went in there to change- so clearly I didn't!! I complained to the front desk, Zoey, and she was extremely rude and said "well I made an announcement". I have been going to Lucille Roberts for a year and a half, there are hardly any machines and the machines are old and break quite often which sucks because there are not a lot of machines and no help. When you do find help like a PT they really don't help unless you buy a package and they never stay for long since I have been there there has not been a PT that stays longer then 3 or 4 months and... I have been trying to cancel my membership for 3 days. Their website has a virus and cannot take AOL or Yahoo cancellations. The phone number they provide refers you back to online services. The staff at the gym cannot intervene on my behalf. Truly it's No Exit. SLC Add comment

I signed up online and went for my first workout at the Flatbush ave location which did not have a daycare, did not have any equipment other than treadmills and their lockers were across the gym from the locker room. I am simply suffering to cancel my member ship my billing cycle is on the 15th i tried to do it online couldn't get through i get an error message when i put my email nd details ( not the email that you signed up with , although thats my only email) anyhow so basically after trying so many times i googles your customer service # and i called on the nov 16th it was closed called again on the 17th... The new manager Diana is a horrible addition to this gym. She has made this gym turn to ***. She doesn't care about her members and their concerns. She will just sit there and laugh in your face. I thought this was about us,the members, not trying to get as many sales as possible.
